A few weeks ago I performed Shostakovich’s Piano Trio No. 2 as part of the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic’s Chamber Series. The concert kicked off WMPA’s annual summer concert series at the Alexandria Lyceum. The program also included some gorgeous vocal pieces by Clara Schumann and performed by Elizabeth Kluegel, and a wind and piano sextet by Kenji Bunch. My trio included wonderful musicians: cellist Kenneth Law and pianist John Sutherland Earle. The audience was enthusiastic and attentive. It was a great afternoon!
