What a pleasure to perform this gorgeous piece recently at George Mason University’s Harris Theatre! The performance was part of pianist Hannah Pierre’s 2nd year recital for her Master’s in Collaborative Piano. There were so many wonderful moments working on and performing this piece with Hannah and clarinetist Julianna Evans. This work has beautiful harmonies and Bruch’s writing for this (somewhat uncommon) instrumental combination was just perfect. Collaborating with these two fine musicians was a delight!
